Heal past relationships to transform and awaken.
In our lives, we have many types of relationships. We are always exchanging energies with each other in these relationships. These energies create connections, or karmic bands, between us. These bands are linked between our souls. We carry them from our past relationships in this lifetime, as well as, our past lives, into our now. Relationships with family, friends, co-workers and others. The relationships may be helpful or they may be troubling and difficult. We are meant to learn from them, yet at times we are so caught up in the problems, and perceived faults of the other person, the relationship or ourselves, it is challenging for us to face them again, for fear of feeling the hurts and pains all over again. This can be particularly difficult with those we have believed have failed us in some way, or we have failed them, perhaps creating what we think may be irreversible issues within us.
Relationships being in the womb, with our biological mother, which creates a karmic band. We also have one with our biological father, as his energy is within us as well. Over time, these bands can strengthen, change and/or create either good loving energy within us; issues, beliefs, opinions about ourselves; or very challenging hurts and pains. If these issues are not dealt with, they will continue to follow us. They may even show up as physical issues such as injuries, illness or dis-ease. Any promises, contracts and oaths with others also create karmic bands. Some of these from the past and past lives could have been forced upon us, yet they are still there and can be interfering in some fashion with our current life. Karmic band energy work can help you heal and release any of these types of connections.
When the relationships are difficult, challenging and painful in some way, we may shy away from working on the issue we need to learn from it so we can heal within us. We may ignore it. We may think we are strong, and carry them, thinking we deserve it somehow and are not worthy of healthy relationships or something else. This is all extra baggage we truly do not need to cart around anymore. Carrying these burdens is not what our souls came here to do. They came here to learn, heal and transform from all past issues in this lifetime and prior ones. We are meant to experience unconditional Love, Joy, Harmony and more. Our souls have chosen the family we were born into, who we interact with and even when and where we are born. Why? Because that’s where the lessons reside for us.
By using Reiki and Karmic Band Energy work, we can face any fears, issues, problems, pains and hurts in a safe space. We can deal with it once and for all. We may still remember the lesson or pain, yet, we will no longer need to feel it, hide from it or fear it. It will no longer interfere in our lives, removing barriers to allow more abundance to flow in these areas which have been previously affected. Our emotions will be much better balanced if we think about the situation. Reiki masters can intend, or “send” energy into these karmic bands for a variety of reasons, including helping you heal the issue. The energy being sent can soften or lesson the emotions so they may not be as dramatic or traumatic for you to recall. At times, bands are removed while the energy keeps you from feeling it at all, or to help block the reason completely, if it may just be too much for you to handle. The energy always knows what is best, and the Reiki Master reads the energy. The energy is from the very wise and all-knowing Divine. If the band has been balanced, when the person is ready, the karmic band can even be completely removed. Again, we will still have the memory of it, but it will no longer affect us in our current life or in our future by causing emotional dis-stress, pain and other problems as we continue on our life journeys. It actually releases us to experience beautiful and positive new situations, people and places without the issue or fear.
One client I had was experiencing self-confidence issues which stemmed from childhood. This issue stemmed from the karmic band between her and her mother. She felt she needed to be thin and wear make-up to be pretty. This idea was ingrained in her head from her mother. Her mother was constantly talking about her looks and society doesn’t make this concept any easier. Her mother would not say she didn’t look good when she didn’t have make-up on, or her hair done or if she gained some weight. But, the way the mother always talked about having to be thin, and that she looked prettier with make-up and with certain clothes and at a certain weight caused an issue in a karmic band between them. The client thought she needed to get her mother’s approval, as well as, society’s and if she didn’t take care of her outer self, no one would love her. It created self-confidence, respect and love problems with this person. This person would work out all the time, didn’t eat enough, so was lacking in proper nutrition, and felt like she wasn’t worthy of good, loving relationships. She bounced around from one relationship to another, looking for approval and love. Using Reiki energy, talking it out, and working on the karmic band released this negative emotional attachment. We did a few sessions simply for this as it was deeply rooted. This issue was a band she carried not only from this lifetime, but had been one she still had from previous ones because of her past life ties to her mothers and other people. She chose this lifetime to heal it with this mother. She is now much happier with herself, with self-love and self-acceptance, creating more loving and beautiful relationships.
Remember, many of us are afraid of facing these issues within ourselves. However, I am here to attest, after deep, intensive work this year, the fears are worse that we can imagine. And, the healing we can obtain to transform ourselves from these karmic band issues, lessons and pains are well worth it. I feel lighter and even happier than I have been (and most people who know me personally think I’m one of the happiest people they have ever met before I did even more deep and profound inner work this year!). I am even more open, aware, and self-confident. I love myself even more. We are not born perfect, because we are human, and in each lifetime as human, we pick up karma. Thus, karmic band work. One very memorable Reiki session I had a couple of years ago when I was doing the hard work of healing from a particularly traumatic year – and the lifetime of built up trauma – was a sense of drowning so strong that the Reiki Master was gasping and choking himself. He later told me that my grandmother showed up for him almost immediately upon beginning the session, and there also was an almost immediate sense of a flood of water pouring down his throat. The women in my family have been silenced for generations by violent men and we broke through something very significant that day – not just for me, but for my daughters, granddaughters and the generations of women to come in my family.
That is a very significant session to release this from your ancestral DNA! How wonderful! During my sessions, it amazes me how often this theme comes up for so many of us from our past and past lifetimes. It is time for women to embrace their Divine feminine power by releasing and healing from so many past issues involving some type of male dominance. This is so interesting to me. I’ve known about karmic energy & using reiki to release some of the negative holds or “bands”, but I never thought of it in terms of issues from past lives, but it totally makes sense. Great post!
