Ho’oponopono Prayer

Slide1

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I love this little prayer.  It is so powerful.  You may have heard of it.  You may not have heard of it.  And, whether you have or have not, you may find you need it more than you realized.

Last month, I had a Reiki client, and I wrote this down for her to repeat often. You see, this client tended to use negative phrases about herself so often, she didn’t even realize it.  She would say things like “stupid knee”, or “I’m too fat”, or “My back doesn’t work right”, etc, etc, etc.  She would judge herself, against what she thought others were thinking, like “he is upset with me because….”  or “he doesn’t like me when….” or “he doesn’t like me as much as when as I was thin….”  Any of this sound familiar to your inner chatter?  Do you know the most conversations we ever have are with ourselves? Why on earth would we say these types of things aloud, let alone in our heads?

I have looked in the mirror and said “you look tired”, or “oh, puffy eyes”, or “my hair doesn’t look right”.  Haven’t you?  These are also negative phrases about ourselves, which we are listening to!  You have heard someone say or read “watch your thoughts, your body is listening?” Well, it’s your physical body, your mental body, your emotional body, your spiritual body, your etheric body…and so on.  Which “body” of you is listening when you state something aloud or within your head?  All of them! It affects all of them.

These are all judgements, criticisms, and negative vibes. It’s energy we are creating and absorbing into our bodies. it’s important to create positive vibes to keep us healthy, happy and uplifted. We want to create positive vibes!  Are you ready to create positive vibes?

Another set of statements I’ve heard from clients, or even those around me at work or friends, are things like “well, it runs in my family”, or “my family has a history of this (fill in the blank…high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, asthma, etc.)”.  This is a form of acceptance of what we believe is our destiny.  Or our fate.  We have control over our health.  We are all creative beings. We can create whatever we focus on.  If we are focusing too much on the “negative aspects”, we can create them. Of course, the opposite is also true!  We can create positive changes, better aspects and more.

Our thoughts, beliefs, opinions and understandings of life and our life, who we are, our health, our circumstances, our situations, our experiences can all be re-defined!  We have the power to change them!  We have the power to not live by these “rules, beliefs, thoughts, etc” that have been forced upon us by family, friends, society, the media, etc.

Guess what? We don’t have to accept our “fate”. We don’t have to accept any beliefs that cause us harm. We don’t have to continue to replay old thought patterns in our minds. We don’t have to believe what we have been taught to believe. We don’t have to BE who we were told we were.  We can awaken to our own beliefs, truths and authenticity We can transform ourselves thought changing our thoughts, beliefs, opinions and understandings. We release the old “destiny” and “fate”, and karma, to heal and ascend.

To start changing, use this Ho’oponopono Prayer:

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

When you realize you are repeating something negative in your head or out loud, stop immediately!  Say the prayer!  You can say it once, or over several times.  Keep practicing this.  It will help!  I know because I’ve used it and continue to do so. If you see me muttering, it could be that I’m repeating this prayer. I find it very helpful, and I’m sure you will, too.  By releasing the old, it allows the new. Release and let it go.  Learn to LOVE you!  Say the prayer.

Now, I also will remind you, that this prayer helps when we feel as if someone else has caused us pain, anger or sadness in some way.  The other person may never say sorry, but, remember, they are a reflection of ourselves. We may feel that pain, anger or sadness, because we have something within us that is similar to their behavior, words or actions. We may not like that within us, and then recognize it, which is why we don’t like it. Say the prayer.

If you carry any guilt, shame or disappointment, in yourself or others, say the prayer.  If you feel you “should have” done this, or said that, and didn’t and are upset with yourself, say the prayer. If you think you made one choice and wish you would have chosen another and are “beating yourself up” over it, say the prayer.

If you aren’t even sure how you feel about something, say the prayer.

Saying the prayers releases the negative vibes, and helps to open yourself up to positive vibes.  Positive thoughts. Positive words. Positive actions.  This helps us heal.  Saying the prayers allows you time to change what you may have said. The more you say it, the more you release the old.  And, now you can start to focus on what you would rather say, and here are some examples:

Instead of “I don’t like my hair”, state “I accept my hair as it chooses to be today and love myself.” Or, simply observe “My hair didn’t do that yesterday, let’s go with it!”

Instead of “I’m too fat”, state “I accept all of myself.”

Instead of “Well, it runs in my family.”, state “A few of my family members had this, and I choose to remain healthy.”

When we use different phrases, we can then start to act differently, eat differently, look at ourselves differently….we can change our perspective to change our destiny to change our fate…to change our lives.  A positive attitude changes everything.

If you want to discuss this further, drop me a note.  If you wish to dip deeper into the releasing of the past, and past lives, contact me. Reiki sessions and Akashic Records readings are powerful tools to help us release all of this, heal, and learn to love ALL OF US.

Namaste! ~ Heather

Speaking Your Truth

Slide1

Recently I have been considering the true meaning behind the statement “Speaking your Truth”.   Since I have been working on both healing and removing past karma to ascend, many new thoughts about life, circumstances, experiences and people have been coming to mind. I have seen people telling others they hurt them, and I have done this as well. I have seen people offering their opinions about behaviors, thoughts, etc, when they were never asked. I have seen people play victim, martyr, savior. And, we all have done this in one way or another in this lifetime and others. This to me is our ego, and not really our truth. As I understand it, the soul is our Truth. We need to connect to our own soul by healing the past.

While I have been one to question and deeply think about a lot of things in my life, I find now I’m doing it even more. I have been working on speaking my truth, as it is one of my biggest karmic lessons from many previous lifetimes.  My mind has always been one to look at all angles simultaneously.  I see the interconnectedness of many differing ways of being, different understandings of life and belief systems. I have been fascinated with other beliefs, cultures and ways of life for my entire life, and thus, am always open and accepting of other’s thoughts and opinions. This has sometimes stifled my voice, where I really wasn’t quite sure what my Truth was.  I waited until “the right time”, and missed it. The right time is the moment, otherwise, it tends to pass on by. Other times it has opened my mind to something I hadn’t realized or considered.

So, now I’m doing all of this on a much deeper level, working on understanding where my ego is getting in the way.  I have talked about letting our soul lead us, and to do this, we have a lot of ego situations and old karma to release, transform and heal.  It is a very deep and layered process.  Knowing we all are mirrors to each other, any and all interactions can be profound learning experiences. Being an energy worker for at least 10 years (Reiki Master, Intuitive, etc), while also working in the public at a busy restaurant for the past three years, I have had tons of learning experiences!  When our feelings are hurt, it is our feelings.  I believe, most people do not purposely hurt another’s feelings.  So, is it okay to tell someone “you hurt my feelings”?  Or “You made me angry”? I have read with relationships, we need to state “it hurt my feelings when…” or “it made me angry…”.  This is a different energy.  We are not blaming someone else, we are not playing victim,  We are expressing our emotions.  It is important to note, we are in charge of our own emotions. By saying that someone did something to you, such as “you hurt my feelings”, it is giving your power away. I once read someone say “wow, you are giving me a lot of power”, after another saying “you hurt my feelings”.  Think about that.  What is your Truth here? My truth is that I was giving my power away. My truth is still part of my emotional response, yet emotional response can be linked to ego. My ego was hurt.  Ego is here to allow us to have a personality and carry out the wishes of the soul.  When we give our power away, we are not listening to our soul. We are not taking responsibility for ourselves, our emotions, our thoughts, our opinions, etc. Our soul is a completely different energy once we start connecting to it.  Learning about past lives via Akashic Records, or other means, can allow us to recognize why we are experiencing the lives we chose.  Yes, the lives we chose.  It may seem that someone would not want to choose a certain life, but the soul has a reason to learn that lesson, and to release past karma.  Soul contracts, soul connections and soul lives are all part of our being and why we are here.

In this 3 year time frame, especially at the restaurant (and some family karmic lessons), I have grown quite a bit. Going through different layers of speaking my truth. From a gal who tends to be a huge challenge at work as she is rather pushy, to dealing with difficult customers, a large variety of personalities – both customers and co-workers – and being an energy worker, it has brought up so much to consider before speaking my truth.

I know speaking my truth is not being mean, aggressive or rude. Sometimes, it may feel that way to the other person, but that is something in them they need to address.  But, I do my best to speak with kindness, love and compassion when I need to say something to someone. I do my best to be a bit diplomatic while allowing my emotions to show. For most of my life, I didn’t allow my truth to be spoken. A lot of it has to do with karmic lessons, and those are truths in themselves. The truth of who we used to be in thousands of lifetimes, and what we did, accepting them, learning from them, releasing them and letting them go.  Many lifetimes I was not allowed to speak my truth for fear of incredible punishment, or abandonment or being literally kicked out of my home. Many lifetimes we have experienced as women were times when women were not seen at the same level as a man. Women had no power. When we exercised any type of power, punishment ensued.  You know in your heart, male or female, you have experienced this or know it is still happening in certain parts of our world.  The truth is that women and men are equal in that the characteristics of each need balance within us and this world. We need to find that balance within our own male and female characteristics.  This is part of our truth. At least how I understand it right now.  In other lifetimes, we may have been a male or female slave, who wasn’t allowed to speak.  We may have been a prisoner of some sort.  You may have been the jailer.  You may have owned slaves.  You may have participated in a variety of things, both “good” and “bad”, according to our soul’s and societies understanding of life. All of these lifetimes build up in us, creating karma and energy that we are here to release.  That is one of my current truths:  old karma energy needs to be released.

Speaking my truth is letting others know I am a soul working on healing and ascending. Through this process, I may have to voice something uncomfortable to myself or another.  But, when we question why we are stating or voicing something, and understanding the deeper meaning behind it, we are learning, growing and becoming more soul focused.  Soul comes from Spirit. Spirit is Love. Love of self and ALL. It is knowing each person is here for a reason. That reason may be complicated, or it may be simple.  It depends on our understanding, our healing and our level of ascension. It is knowing that anyone’s understanding, healing or ascension level is neither right or wrong, neither good or bad, neither better or worse. It is that person’s current Truth.  Truth is sometimes our opinion, our thoughts and beliefs.  But we need to question those as to whether we truly believe them, and whether they are ego-based.  Ego will judge itself and others, complain, argue the point, criticize and compare itself to others. Soul will allow others to be, and not be affected by other’s behaviors. Soul can show compassion, empathy, kindness and sympathy, yet soul understands there is a bigger picture on why, even if our current understanding does not know why. Again, this is my current understanding. As I continue my healing journey, releasing karma and ascending, I look forward to other, further and deeper understandings of Speaking My Truth, and what it means to be Living My Truth, and being even more Soul led.

Namaste!

Challenge Your Beliefs

Slide1Have you ever stopped yourself in mid-thought, and then thought “Why am I thinking this?”  Perhaps it’s an opinion, belief or understanding you’ve had that suddenly, doesn’t make sense to you anymore? Perhaps it doesn’t feel right any longer?

About 14 years ago, 1-2 years after I was divorced, I was sitting in my church at mass, and I heard the priest state “…The ONLY Son of God.”  And, out of the blue…I thought “What?”  How can Jesus Christ be the ONLY Son of God, when WE are also told we are ALL Sons and Daughters of God? Suddenly, I thought to myself…”this doesn’t make sense anymore.”  If you know me now, you know I believe in many different, spiritual teachers spiritual entities and deities, including Christ and more.  I believe we all have the Divine within us, and are all a fraction of this Divine energy, therefore, all connected to each other as One. To me, it’s all about spirituality and oneness, learning to work with each other with our unique gifts.  Anyway, what’s very interesting to me as I look back upon that experience, is how did I not challenge that belief before that specific time?

I grew up with religion, astrology and metaphysical understandings in my life. Yet, it was that moment in time, when my life had a very profound shift in my beliefs. I was on autopilot at church! I had been accepting what the Catholic Church told me as my Truth without question. Before this moment, I had challenged the marriage contract where my belief was “it should not be broken.”  I believed that with my whole being, which caused me a lot of stress. A very wise woman asked me “if he is not honoring the contract, why are you?” My ex-husband (not to take his inventory for those who may be offended by my next words), abused drugs and alcohol. He was hardly ever home, as since I was not accepting of his lifestyle, which was hidden from me, until we were already married, by him and his family.  Once married, he stayed away from me to be with his friends who would party with him.  He had talked himself into saying it was okay to be doing coke because he worked long hours and he needed to stay awake. Basically, he really wasn’t participating in the marriage.

Anyway, when I challenged the marriage contract, I was still rather upset and nervous about it, as I am a person of my word. My wise counselor helped, but what really helped was when we told my Grandma.  By, “we”, I mean my mother and I.  My Mom thought my Grandma would be super upset due to her religious beliefs.  But, we were very surprised by what she said. She told me “honey, if he isn’t being good to you, and you aren’t happy, then you do what makes you happy.”  It was like someone took the shackles off my mind surrounding marriage. Now, I also believe people should try to work out their differences, and we both had went to counseling, however, in my circumstance, it didn’t bring us help, but helped me start to heal.

So, I am sitting in church, with my sudden revelation, and also felt free of being a hypocrite sitting there, a divorced woman. I was no longer some pariah, or feeling as though I should be shunned, as women have been through-out history for divorce, or being “tossed out” by their husband.  And we, as women, carry this around in our energy from previous lifetimes and our ancestors. I’ve released many of this now through working with my personal Akashic Records, and releasing with Reiki and other energy work.  Talk about Freedom!  I walked out that day and felt very happy. I haven’t returned to a formal church sermon since then, although I know they can bring lots of good to people.  I loved the singing, and the community, but I was no longer vibrating at that frequency.

Even prior to the revelation, I had been doing yoga, and read all sorts of alternative self-help books, had been going to Al-Anon, and absorbed as much information and knowledge as I could. I kept it up during and after the divorce. Others started noticing a huge difference in me after the divorce.  They saw me as happier.  I was actually radiating a pure happiness. Others had always told me they felt a calmness around me, and I made them “feel better” by just being around, but now there was a different level of it.  True, I was no longer stressed by the marriage, but I was also working on healing myself, which brings upped my vibration.

I have dated others and I have not yet met my Divine Partner, but each has taught me more to heal and transform myself.  I know it is imperative to continue my healing journey and Divine Order and Timing will take care of the rest. Relationships are definitely a wonderful way to learn about yourself. Having an Akashic Records reading to understand contracts with people in your life is definitely a wonderful tool.  I have a friend who had multiple readings with me and has cleared out a lot of karma! As once you know what the karma is about, you can use energy work, like Reiki, to remove the energy cords and blockages. The last relationship I had was one of the most powerful ones to really give me a huge energetic push to do more energy healing work on myself and receive energy work from others. I continue on my healing journey and my soul path, and am thankful of the wisdom I have gained through many different types of relationships through-out my life.

If you would like assistance to release past karma, old beliefs and relationships, which no longer serve you, Please contact me for a reading or session.  15 minute free consultations are available.

Live in Peace

Slide1

Live in Peace with Love in every way, every day.

Living in Peace starts with cultivating Love within yourself and for yourself. When you discover the feeling of Divine Love within you, you can radiate it outwards, touching others with the energy of Peace with Love. To me, Peace & Love go hand-in-hand. You must have Love to create peace. Starting with you, allows you to see your self with clear eyes, allows you to accept yourself as you are, and allows you to release old beliefs, thoughts and opinions, transforming them and creating new ones all about Love to radiate Peace. And, once you are seeing and living in Peace with Love, you are more able to see others clearly, accepting others just as they are. We are told to treat each other as we would treat ourselves. And, in life I have seen others treat others as they treat themselves in ways that are hurtful, as many haven’t discovered the magic in truly loving themselves. It is so important to create Peace every way in every day to heal, transform and awaken the Divine Love that already exists within you to allow you to flow easily and effortlessly with Peace.

If I can assist you in your healing and soul journey, please contact me at: HeatherCLang@yahoo.com. I’m offering free 15 minute consultations. If you book a one hour session, in September or October, I’m offering $15 off. One hour session for $60 instead of $75, for both new and current clients. Let’s remove and uncover issues, thoughts and beliefs that can be released so you can become “Become Soulfully Empowered™” to live in Peace with Love.

Self-Love

Self-Love is not Selfish.

slide1

Selfishness is not the same thing as Self-Love. You were warned not to be selfish when you were younger, like when you wouldn’t share your toys with others. Selfish is being concerned only with yourself and no one else. It’s ego-driven, as you attempt to gain material goods, use others for your own gain, and think you are far superior to others due to your talents, knowledge, actions and more, while looking down on others as “beneath you”. Selfishness is not considering or caring about the needs, thoughts, wishes, or emotions of others. It is being completely self-absorbed.  It is thinking your way is the only way. It is helping others only to receive something in return. It can take many forms, both blatant or subtle, which makes it important to be able to discern the truth to understand whether someone is of Love or hasn’t yet arrived into a state of Love.

At times we may feel selfish when we are exhausted, famished, angry or hurt, and we lash out, clam up or sink into ourselves. This is not true selfishness, but a sign we need self-love as our emotions are letting us know we need to address our own issue, go within, process, release and heal from the situation creating our emotional reaction. This helps us move forward in life, connecting to our inner selves, our higher selves and our heart center.

Self-Love is Self-Care, Self-Nuturing, Self-Compassion, Self-Kindness and more.

Self-Love is taking care of your needs to allow you to be whole and healthy. It’s loving yourself enough to be confident in your thoughts, words and actions, yet expressing openness, compassion and understanding for those of others. It is taking the time to eat healthy, exercise, meditate, and heal physically, mentally & emotionally, to be completely authentic. It is knowing when you need to rest, versus pushing into exhaustion for others. It is sharing your gifts with others to help them and yourself. It is knowing you create your own happiness, peace & Love.

Self-Love is being a kind, loving and caring human being to you, and all around you, including all of Nature. It is recognizing while you are an individual, unique soul, you are also part of the One, and what you do to another, is done to you. It is choosing positive actions, thoughts and words to help you and everyone around you. As thoughts, words and actions are all energy. We are all energy, sharing, giving and exchanging energy all the time. Choosing positive, love-filled energy to share and give is our purpose. Moving into a more love-centered world is our purpose. Our purpose includes unique gifts and talents all our own, yet it is still to share and give them with Love.

Self-Love is all about going back to Love, and living Love more and more. It is pausing to ask yourself what is the motivation behind my words, thoughts and actions? Ego or Love driven? If ego, it is time to discover why and heal from it, allowing the heart, or Love to lead you, versus the ego. It is being aware and open enough to listen more than speak, both to others and your higher self, your Divine Center, your soul. Self-Love is understanding and listening more to your truth, than that of others, although being wise enough to listen to others’ beliefs to see if it resonates with you in some way. It is seeking knowledge for growth, wisdom and transformation to “Awaken a more brilliant version of you™” to give and share of your true self, while having the discernment to know who else lives with Self-Love. As we connect more with others who are living in Love with Self-Love, we increase this energy to share with others who need it the most. We are creating a wave of wondrous Love, transforming ourselves, and showing others how to transform themselves.

I’d be honored to help you discover, deepen and shine your Self-Love through healing, transformation and awakening your authenticity to live in Love.

Namaste! ❤ ~ Heather

Make Time for Love

Slide1

Make time for what and who you love.

How busy are you? Are you making excuses? Are those excuses about “not enough time?” Do you know what you would prefer to be doing given all the time in the world?

We have as much time as we need for what we love to do and who we love. Many of us have to work, yet many of us are still working too much. We think we need more “stuff” to be happy, so we spend more time making money to get more “stuff”. Is this “stuff” making you happier? Or is it filling a hole? What hole is it filling? Are you lonely?  Feeling unloved or unworthy? Are you craving attention to boost your self-confidence?  Perhaps you are fearful of understanding yourself and working all the time keeps you from thinking about your own issues? Whatever the case may be, it’s important to know we need a healthy relationship with our selves by making time for ourselves.  We also need to know it’s healthy to interact and enjoy time with those we love.

If we are not making time for what we love to do and who we love in our lives, it’s time to ask why. It is easy to get caught up in the “to-do” list. But what is on your “to-do” list? Is it ego fulfilling or soul fulfilling?  Ego-fulfilling items can be doing what society thinks we should be doing.  Working harder to prove we are hard-workers. Between our home, families and work, we can always find something to do. Then we tend to talk about how busy we are doing all these things.  Well, what about doing something soul fulfilling?  Something which makes you truly happy?  Maybe it’s exercising for the joy you find it (versus it being a chore on your to-do list), like walking through the park or along a beach, doing yoga or playing in a pool. Perhaps it’s playing a round of golf with friends. Maybe it’s going to a movie, playing a game with your kids, any arts & crafts, sitting quietly, meditating or going for a leisurely drive and letting the energy take you somewhere new to discover.  Any of these can be soul-fulfilling, and while doing them you may uncover or discover a passion you forgot about.  This passion could lead you to your life purpose, which you may be able to turn into your career.  And, having a career doing what we love is making time for what we love to do.

We all know in this 3D world we have our bills, need food and shelter, however, what choices are you making that are not in line with balance and enjoying your life? What is unhealthy for you mind, body or soul?  How can you change it?  If you do not like your job, are you searching for a new one or perhaps building your own business more in line with your passions?

Another question to ask yourself is “are you loving your to-do list?” How many times have you caught yourself doing something on your list versus Being in the moment? If you are so ingrained on getting things done, you aren’t being in the now and most likely aren’t enjoying yourself. You may not like cleaning, and find yourself complaining to yourself while you do it.   While doing one thing, you may be thinking about the next thing you need to do, which causes us stress. Make that “to-do” list and think of something else you can do which is creating balance because it helps you in some way. Try playing music you enjoy, which is known to elevate our energy. Or incorporate something else like yoga poses.  I clean the floors while in Goddess Pose, which makes my body and soul feel better because I love yoga.  I incorporate others poses here and there as well as I move from one thing to the next. I also practice deep breathing exercises and meditation while doing home chores. Combining our to-do list with what we love can really help us find time for what we love.

Can remember how often you may use the phrase “I don’t have the time” or “I’m too tired.” Next time ask yourself “Why am I not making time for myself or my loved ones?” and “Why am I so tired?” Ask yourself “Why is it important to me to be doing things from my to-do list versus (insert a fun activity)?”  Determine if you are truly tired and need to rest, or if you need a boost of energy by doing something you love. When we dig deep, we can find issues we may not want to face, but by facing them, we can heal them and let them go. “Busy work” is often a band-aid for something we do not want to face within ourselves. It keeps the focus from us, tiring us out, so we do not have to think about our internal “problems.”  However, the more we can dive within to deal with and heal from our issues, we reveal another layer of our authenticity. When we live our truth, or our authenticity, we attract more opportunities we would love to do, as well as, more people we would love to spend time with, as they are seeing us for our true selves.  Therefore, we are creating and manifesting time to do what we love to do, while also creating time to spend with those we love.

Perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate the to-do list and create a different list. Perhaps the list can be named the “Love List”. List all the things you love to do and all the people in your life with whom you wish to spend time. Start carving out time in your days to accomplish your “love list”. Note, it’s important that we are not checking off items like a “to-do” list, but creating time and a life in which we can enjoy all the things and people we love more often, through healing, awakening our authenticity and living the life we love.

What’s on your “love list”? I’d love to hear about it!

Namaste!

Support Systems

Slide1

We all need our support systems.

We require physical, mental and emotional support. We require spiritual support. Support for our opinions, beliefs and feelings. Each individual requires support in all the stages of life. As infants we need our head supported, to be fed, changed and clothed. As we grow, we need support as we learn to crawl and then walk. We need classes and training to support our education. When participating in sports or team events our team mates, coaches and audience support us. During daily life, assisting each other at work, or with home chores is support of one another.

Relationships with others and the proper way to interact with different personalities is another way we can support each other. Sharing our own experiences and stories helps in this fashion. Learning acceptance and discernment, awareness and openness are all things we can do to help our selves and others, as we can be supportive without criticism or judgment.

We also need others to help us learn how to cultivate self-worth, self-confidence, self-love and more. We need to help others in all of these areas, while others are also helping us. Sometimes these lessons are easy and at times they are extremely challenging, as we learn more and more about our selves and the way we may be acting or reacting to another person or situation. In these instances working with a Reiki Master, Life Coach or Counselor can be very helpful, and these professionals are providing you the support you need.

We need to truly understand the type of support which may be required for us and of us. At any given time, we may need a teacher, a coach, a friend or a mentor. Maybe we need family to help us understand love of one another regardless of mistakes and problems. Maybe we need friends to offer advice, but perhaps we simply need them to be a sounding board, to listen to us while we talk it out and figure it out by our selves. Perhaps we need an intuitive guide, showing empathy and helping us to determine how to heal, release and grow.

It is important to discern what type of support we need, and what others need. Sometimes the support type is very clear, and sometimes we need to ask how we can help someone. We need to comprehend our way of needing support may not necessarily be someone else’s way, therefore, a simple question allows us to supply what is needed. Understanding of each other and our own and others’ needs provides us a better way to be kind and compassionate with unconditional Love. It allows us to step back and simply be the support system without being upset someone may not be following our guidance because it may not resonate with them at that time. It may later, and it may not, but we need to detach from the circumstance, and remember, we are all walking very different paths on our unique journeys. In those instances where the type of support is not readily apparent, and sometimes even if it is, a simple “how can I support you?” may be the key to offering and being the type of support truly needed at that time.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing both people in my life who have not known how to support me, and those who do know or simply asked “What can I do for you?” Some who have listened, some who have offered advice, yet through it all continued to show their support and love. I’ve had others who have become frustrated with me and seemingly abandoned me. I have had those who judge my decisions and those who accept them. I have had those who have jeered me and those who have cheered me.  In the end, I’ve learned something from each person, instance and treatment.  I’ve been able to still work through my issues, with the support of those around me who stuck with me.  And, being that type of person is the kind of support we all would like and need, regardless if we are able to help the other person “fix” the issue, or not, whether or not we offer or give advice which is taken or not at the time. We need to realize offering support that the other person needs is not about us, it is about them and what they need.  We are simply meant to be here to support others in any way they need with Love. And, in return, we will find others learn from us and become the support we need, whether they leave our lives, stay or return in some fashion. Support is all about learning and growth for everyone involved.

Challenges to Authenticity

I’m honored to once again be featured with this blog on The Wellness Universe!

I invite you to visit and read, see link below.  All thoughts are most welcome, or share one of the difficulties you overcame and how you did it.

“We are not broken. We do not need to fix ourselves. We have challenges to overcome. We have issues we need to heal. Therefore, we need to stop acting out old problems, issues or challenges and change our internal programming. Make the efforts to do the work to discover and uncover the real self. It is worth it … we are worth it. We have a Divine right to live life to its fullest in joy and Love with meaningful relationships with ourselves and others…..”
