Through challenging and beautiful life lessons, I’ve grown, healed and discovered my true life’s purpose, which is to help others heal themselves, guiding them to find their true life purpose. As my journey of healing and transformation continues, I have been guided to share through the written word on my Facebook page and blog site, teach yoga, become a Reiki Master and intuitive guide. I also enjoy doing Tarot Card readings for clients. I AM an intuitive lightworker, and my former lives as many different types of healers along with many types of spiritual entities bring knowledge and wisdom to me, assisting in my gifts.

Make time for what and who you love.

How busy are you? Are you making excuses? Are those excuses about “not enough time?” Do you know what you would prefer to be doing given all the time in the world?

We have as much time as we need for what we love to do and who we love. Many of us have to work, yet many of us are still working too much. We think we need more “stuff” to be happy, so we spend more time making money to get more “stuff”. Is this “stuff” making you happier? Or is it filling a hole? What hole is it filling? Are you lonely?  Feeling unloved or unworthy? Are you craving attention to boost your self-confidence?  Perhaps you are fearful of understanding yourself and working all the time keeps you from thinking about your own issues? Whatever the case may be, it’s important to know we need a healthy relationship with our selves by making time for ourselves.  We also need to know it’s healthy to interact and enjoy time with those we love.

If we are not making time for what we love to do and who we love in our lives, it’s time to ask why. It is easy to get caught up in the “to-do” list. But what is on your “to-do” list? Is it ego fulfilling or soul fulfilling?  Ego-fulfilling items can be doing what society thinks we should be doing.  Working harder to prove we are hard-workers. Between our home, families and work, we can always find something to do. Then we tend to talk about how busy we are doing all these things.  Well, what about doing something soul fulfilling?  Something which makes you truly happy?  Maybe it’s exercising for the joy you find it (versus it being a chore on your to-do list), like walking through the park or along a beach, doing yoga or playing in a pool. Perhaps it’s playing a round of golf with friends. Maybe it’s going to a movie, playing a game with your kids, any arts & crafts, sitting quietly, meditating or going for a leisurely drive and letting the energy take you somewhere new to discover.  Any of these can be soul-fulfilling, and while doing them you may uncover or discover a passion you forgot about.  This passion could lead you to your life purpose, which you may be able to turn into your career.  And, having a career doing what we love is making time for what we love to do.

We all know in this 3D world we have our bills, need food and shelter, however, what choices are you making that are not in line with balance and enjoying your life? What is unhealthy for you mind, body or soul?  How can you change it?  If you do not like your job, are you searching for a new one or perhaps building your own business more in line with your passions?

Another question to ask yourself is “are you loving your to-do list?” How many times have you caught yourself doing something on your list versus Being in the moment? If you are so ingrained on getting things done, you aren’t being in the now and most likely aren’t enjoying yourself. You may not like cleaning, and find yourself complaining to yourself while you do it.   While doing one thing, you may be thinking about the next thing you need to do, which causes us stress. Make that “to-do” list and think of something else you can do which is creating balance because it helps you in some way. Try playing music you enjoy, which is known to elevate our energy. Or incorporate something else like yoga poses.  I clean the floors while in Goddess Pose, which makes my body and soul feel better because I love yoga.  I incorporate others poses here and there as well as I move from one thing to the next. I also practice deep breathing exercises and meditation while doing home chores. Combining our to-do list with what we love can really help us find time for what we love.

Can remember how often you may use the phrase “I don’t have the time” or “I’m too tired.” Next time ask yourself “Why am I not making time for myself or my loved ones?” and “Why am I so tired?” Ask yourself “Why is it important to me to be doing things from my to-do list versus (insert a fun activity)?”  Determine if you are truly tired and need to rest, or if you need a boost of energy by doing something you love. When we dig deep, we can find issues we may not want to face, but by facing them, we can heal them and let them go. “Busy work” is often a band-aid for something we do not want to face within ourselves. It keeps the focus from us, tiring us out, so we do not have to think about our internal “problems.”  However, the more we can dive within to deal with and heal from our issues, we reveal another layer of our authenticity. When we live our truth, or our authenticity, we attract more opportunities we would love to do, as well as, more people we would love to spend time with, as they are seeing us for our true selves.  Therefore, we are creating and manifesting time to do what we love to do, while also creating time to spend with those we love.

Perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate the to-do list and create a different list. Perhaps the list can be named the “Love List”. List all the things you love to do and all the people in your life with whom you wish to spend time. Start carving out time in your days to accomplish your “love list”. Note, it’s important that we are not checking off items like a “to-do” list, but creating time and a life in which we can enjoy all the things and people we love more often, through healing, awakening our authenticity and living the life we love.

What’s on your “love list”? I’d love to hear about it!

Namaste!
