Create your destiny.

You are free to create the destiny you wish to live.  Slide1
You have free will, and as such, are not the victim of your circumstances. You have the key to unlock the potential within you, by removing limiting thoughts, and not defining yourself by your mistakes, fears, vulnerabilities, weaknesses and/or scars. You are free to unburden yourself of these and of any victimhood mentality you may have. You have the ability to open your own doors and fly free. You have the power within you to release what may be burdening you.

You were born to live a full, happy life, with friends, fun and family. You are here to live your purpose, part of which is releasing old baggage we have been carrying around for lifetimes. It is through this process you can create the life you wish to live. Do you wish to be happy? Do you wish to be loving? Do you wish to be kind, compassionate and understanding? Do you wish to create prosperity? Do you wish to have an intimate partner to share your life? Do you wish to have a solid family? Do you wish to create your own business? All of these things are within your reach. You simply need to let go of the illusions of your self-imposed limitations. Discover why you have had the life you have had and release it. Explore why you may have made a mistake and learn from it so you can grow into a better version of you.

Everything is for a reason. Nothing in our lives are to punish us from a mistake in this lifetime or another. Explore the illusions of lack and fear, and let them go.  Carrying around guilt, shame, jealousy, angers, worry, anxiety and any other lower vibrational feelings bring on distress and illness. They bring the immune systems down. They keep you from living the enormous potential which is everyone’s Divine right.

Remember, energy attracts like energy.  It doesn’t matter if humans define the energy as “good” or “bad”.  The Universe recognizes only energy.  Your thoughts & feelings are energy. Your words are energy. Your actions are energy. If you think or believe you are somehow flawed, you will attract situations and experiences which continue to fuel that belief.  However, if you think or believe you are wonderful, you will attract that type of energy.  If you believe you are loving and beautiful, this is the energy you are attracting. This is not ego-driven beauty or love.  This is Divine self-love, self-worth, self-confidence and self-respect. Our energy creates our life. Our repetitive patterns are signals to us to either continue doing what we are doing, or to change it if we do not like the kind of life we have been living.

Recognize and be aware of the incredible being you are and the amazing things you can manifest. Remember, the fear is way worse than the reality. Let the fear go, face the reality and allow yourself to transform into the person you wish to be, the person you know you can be, and live your fullest life creating and manifesting all of your dreams. I believe in you….it is time for you to believe in you, too.

If you would like guidance in your life transforming endeavors, I would be honored to help you.

Namaste!

If you wish to follow my blog, you will be included in the next monthly group Reiki energy session, given on the 1st of the following month. You only need to intend to be included to receive the energy when you are ready. The energy will then flow to you, helping you in any way you currently need for your soul mission.

Nonviolence

Shine complete acceptance & appreciation on ALL Beings.

Slide1

To create a World of Unity & Harmony we must practice completely accepting and appreciating everyone and all beings, including ourselves. Our differences are simply differences, and each person is learning a different lesson in life, therefore, our paths will be different. Being kind, compassionate, loving & gentle with acceptance and appreciation for the differences in all people & situations helps radiate the Peace each and every creature has as our Divine Right.

Nonviolence, or Ahimsa,  is one of the principles of yoga.  A better definition of “Ahimsa” is loving compassion towards all living beings, harming no one and no other Beings including ourselves. To practice Ahimsa it is very important to learn how to not be violent towards ourselves. To do this, we need to focus on changing our thoughts, words and actions towards ourselves into loving kindness & compassion.  Showing ourselves this love means to fully accept and appreciate ourselves, with our supposed “flaws” and all. When we think or speak poorly of how we look or perhaps say “that was stupid” to ourselves to a comment we have made, it is violence against ourselves. Therefore, we must correct it by canceling the thought and be loving & compassionate to ourselves, working towards changing our thoughts & words.  Remember, our bodies are listening to us, and take the energy in, as well as sending it out.  What we send out comes back to us – The Law of Attraction. So, focus on sending out what is good, positive & healthy for everyone, including ourselves.  Remember, we are a human manifestation of the Divine, which is pure love & light, therefore, we are also pure love & light. Our souls have intended to live this life, as a human being.  We are here for a reason, as is every other living creature.  To learn lessons and transform, awaken and evolve. It is important to note, a Human Being is simply one type of life form on this planet, so we must make a note to treat all living beings with Ahimsa.  Animals, insects, plants, water, etc, are all life forms and Beings with energy to which we can also show loving kindness & compassion, practicing Ahimsa.  If we are cursing the weather, this is violence towards Mother Nature.  Learn to accept the weather may not be what you would prefer.  Acceptance doesn’t mean you like something, it means you understand it is something that is necessary and simply exists in this now.

To be nonviolent towards ourselves and others, doesn’t mean we do not have any “negative” feelings, such as anger, anxiety or fear. It means feeling them with compassion towards ourselves, instead of lashing out at another. These feelings are providing us an opportunity to learn & grow, recognizing there is a reason within why we feel this way. Once we understand this feeling and find the root cause, we can begin to work through them, let go and heal ourselves. This is showing Ahimsa. Note that Reiki sessions can be very helpful in working through feelings, releasing them and healing yourself. (Please contact me if you would like more information at heather clang@yahoo.com.)

Practicing Ahimsa is also completely understanding Unity and how we are all intricately interconnected to one another and all Beings, thus the concept we are all One.  It is knowing your neighbor, friends & family, animals and the elements share this world with you, and what you do to each other and to any being in this world affects them, and thus affects you.  We are Nature, and Nature is us. Work towards accepting differences and appreciating all for their purpose, even if it something which does not coincide with our beliefs, opinions and life. We, each and everyone of us, are all entitled to freely live our truth, soul mission, passion & purpose with Ahimsa.

This reminds me of the day when my Nana (paternal grandmother) told me how she felt when they had to cut down a tree in their yard which was causing dis-stress to the home. She told me the tree sap was bubbling and pouring out, like the life blood of the tree was bleeding out and she cried and cried for the life of this tree.  She respected all Beings and honored this tree with her tears of love & compassion, but also with allowing the wood to help others.  I recall my dad taking some for our home to help warm us within the fireplace, and they invited others to do the same. In this way, the tree’s life was useful again. This is Ahimsa. The tree needed to come down, and yet, because it was a living creature, it deserved compassion, respect & loving kindness in both life & death.  Using the tree to help others was helping to celebrate it’s life.

As we practice Ahimsa more and more, it creates a wonderful energy around us, radiating towards other Beings. It is similar to the domino effect where when we treat others in a specific way, it affects them, and they in turn can treat others this way. Let us create this energy wave each and every day by practicing Ahimsa. It helps create more Unity, Balance, Harmony, Love & Peace in our World.

Beliefs Create Reality

Everything in your life is the reality you created by your beliefs & experiences.

Slide1

If you wish to change your reality, change your beliefs. Changing our beliefs involves investigating why we have those beliefs and where they began. Opening yourself up to other beliefs from different people, cultures and countries helps you understand other beliefs to see if that belief resonates with you. Changing your beliefs incorporates questioning the similarities and differences of your beliefs and another’s.

Changing your reality is looking at your experiences in a different way.

If you believe a situation was intended to be harmful, it will be. If you believe that same situation was intended to be helpful, it will be. It truly comes down to what you choose to believe which creates your reality in each situation you encounter. I choose to believe there is an opportunity to learn all the time for growth and wisdom. Lessons are everywhere, delivered in many different ways from many different situations.

For instance, last week there was a number of people outside my apartment making quite a bit of noise.  This happened late in the night, and it woke me up.  I immediately thought how rude and inconsiderate they were being, and I let it bother me and keep me awake until they stopped. My peace was disrupted. Interestingly, earlier in the night, we also experienced rain, thunder and lightening, which also woke me up.  When the weather woke me up, I didn’t think “how rude of Mother Nature to wake me up in the middle of the night.”  Instead I thought, “Oh, it’s storming. I love the sounds of rain and thunder.”  I allowed myself to go back to sleep with the sounds of the storm. My peace was not disrupted.

Since I believe the storm was soothing sounds, I was able to go back to sleep. With the people, my belief was they were being rude and inconsiderate, as people should be quiet at night.  Looking back, I didn’t think Mother Nature was waking me up on purpose. But my belief stemmed from my experience growing up and being told to stay quiet at night. Therefore, I blamed the people that I couldn’t fall back asleep.  Was it their fault? Were they really purposely waking me up any more than Mother Nature was?  Of course not.  They were having fun. Both times I woke up it was due to noise.  I labeled the noises as different due to my beliefs and experiences growing up.  I was able to remove my focus of staying awake with Mother Nature, to remain at peace for sleeping. I could have chosen to do the same with the human noises, thus changing my belief that these people were keeping me awake, thus changing my experience and reality of that night.  I still believe it is best for me to stay quiet at night to be in rhythm with nature and I would hope others feel the same way. But, I do not have control over others, just myself. I can choose not to be affected when other people are not being quiet, which creates a different reality for me. It allows me to keep my peace & quiet in my mind. That is the lesson. I also find it very interesting, helpful & coincidental that both Mother Nature and Human Nature woke me that night.

This lesson can be applied to many situations in life. It is important to ask yourself what you are choosing as your reality based on your beliefs and experiences, especially when something or someone is upsetting you in some fashion. Discovering and understanding the differences and similarities of beliefs can lead you into a new reality. From our views of society to religion to government and beyond, recognizing how our beliefs and experiences have shaped our lives can allow us to consider other beliefs and experiences. Truly learning the why behind our behaviors can bring us wisdom and lead us to a different choice, thus transforming our reality to more love, peace & joy.

May you view life as learning lessons for growth & wisdom.

Namaste!

Morals are Adjustable

Sometimes we need to adjust the definition of our morals. Slide1

What are our morals? Our ethics? It’s what we believe is right. But, what is right? Is anything truly right? It may be right for you at that moment. It might be right for someone else but doesn’t ring true for you. Our morals and ethics boil down to what we believe to be true and are part of our values.  Our values are what we think, or believe, are important.

Our beliefs are flexible, mutable and shiftable. They are adjustable. As we move through life, meeting & communicating with more people, we have the opportunity to shift our beliefs, or our morals ethics and values. For instance, in some cultures and some homes, it is morally right to remove your shoes when you walk into the front door, in the foyer. It is believed it is the right thing to do. In others, you are to remove your shoes before you walk through the front door. Which is right? Is one wrong? Which do you believe to be true?  Do your friends, neighbors and family feel the same way? Has it changed over the years? Why is it accepted to keep your shoes on in public buildings? It is claimed it’s for safety.  Is it safer? Many ashrams, which are public, ask you to remove your shoes. They are not worried about safety. They ask you to do it for respect and cleanliness.  Are ashrams right and your office building is wrong? Or vice versa?

I remember growing up, my mom insisted we remove our shoes when we entered the home to keep it clean. She valued cleanliness.  Now my mom doesn’t care if you leave your shoes on. She still likes a clean home, but no longer thinks taking your shoes off is the only right thing to do. She even leaves her shoes on, because it makes her feet feel better.  I tend to wobble back and forth with my own home. I still believe it will keep the home cleaner, but to me I would prefer someone feel comfortable in my home, and some people feel more comfortable leaving their shoes on. And I’m okay with that.  I also like to be barefoot, but I have to agree, at times, my feet feel better when I’m walking around in my Birkenstocks outside or inside.

This same philosophy can be applied to deeper and more challenging ideas. Ask questions of yourself. Ask yourself what you believe to be true and decide whether or not you need to change your morals either based on where you are physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Are you right? Is the other person right?  Does someone else have another belief completely different?  Is this person right, then?  Who are you with?  Does this make a difference in what you believe? Where are you?  Does this make a difference?  Does another point of view based on similar or different circumstances or people feel better to you?  Because we have the power to change ourselves, it give us the power to change our beliefs.  Remember, they are flexible and shiftable.  So they can change based on the person you are with or the situation you are in.  They are mutable, which gives you the ability to flow with whatever feels right to you at that time.  And, if it feels right to you at that time, you can begin to see if it feels right in other future situations. Perhaps you will find you have changed your belief.  Perhaps you find your belief is not as stringent as you once thought.  Perhaps you may find you have completely changed your attitude. Perhaps you will find you have awakened to the aspect that you are not always right and someone else is not always wrong.   Questioning morals allows you to recognize where you are on your path is right for you at this time, and if someone else is in a different space, it is currently right for them, just different than you.

Our morals are a wonderful way to see differences in others, and accept them for what they are – differences.  No right.  No wrong.  Just different.  Giving ourselves the freedom to adjust the definition of our morals, ethics and values allows us the incredible flexibility to be open to all situations and experiences. This in turn lets us see them from a different perspective and viewpoint to once again see if we either need to change our beliefs or have already done so in some way. It allows us to be in the flow of life, as well as, be the flow.

May you give yourself the flexibility to adjust the definition of your morals.

Namaste!

Thoughts Shape Reality

Be mindful of your thoughts as they are shaping your reality.

Slide1Our minds are extremely powerful tools in creating our lives. If we continue to think we are not enough, we won’t be. If we obsess about not being beautiful, we won’t appear that way to others. If we don’t think we have enough money, we won’t. If we worry about getting sick, we can become sick. Thoughts are energy and they are sending the energy into the universe, and the Universe is sending it back to you without judgement or labeling the thoughts as good or bad. Only humans attach labels to people, things, situations and experiences. Like attracts like, and it is the same with energy, and since your thoughts are energy, you are attracting that same energy back to you, creating and shaping your reality. This is the Law of Attraction at work. Change your thoughts, change your reality.

It’s important to create our reality the way we wish to see it.  If we wish to see more peace, think about more peaceful situations, things, people and experiences.  If we wish to see more love, think about more loving people and ways to be more loving. Shaping our reality by thought energy is simply changing the way we look at things. In this image, some may see an old bent tree.  Some will see the beauty in the bark, the way the roots are holding strong or the way the tree is making the best of it’s living space. All realities exist, but it comes down to the one you wish to see, what perspective you wish to take and how you want your reality to be created.  What we send out, comes back to us.

Be mindful of what you are sending out to the universe in thought form, and only send out what it is you wish to be returned to you.

If there is a difficult person in your life, and all you can think about is how angry this person is, or perhaps how mean they are being, or wrong or whatever the case may be, this is the type of energy you are feeling and creating in your life.  You are creating more scenarios in which other people with these types of feelings or traits appear in your life. Instead, consider the possibilities they are not who you think they are to be.  Consider they have had a traumatic life and do not know how to heal or change themselves.  Many scenarios exist in all our lives, and with many people, we do not know what type of life they have lived to bring them to where they are today and how they are coming across. Compassion and understanding is needed.  You may not be able to help them physically, but you can send them thoughts of love and light, helping their soul.  And, in return, the universe sends you compassion, understanding, loving people to help you in some fashion.

Realize what you think is the world you live in.

Recognize that we can either think in loving peaceful terms, or compassionate kind terms.  We can think something completely opposite.  Whatever we think of the world is the way the world appears to us.  We can think the world is a wonderful place to be, full of wonder & magic. Or something else.  We can think there is more loving people in the world or not.  It’s all up to you to create your reality.  This is what it means to create your life with your thoughts. We all live in the same world, but it’s our thoughts which create our view of the world, thus creating our reality. The more we send out positive thoughts, the more the Universe ,through the Law of Attraction, will send us positive people, situations, resources and experiences.

Manifesting with your thoughts is another step towards creating your dream life and living your passion, purpose & soul mission.

It takes practice to keep our thoughts positive.  Therefore, if you find yourself having a thought about someone which you would not want returned to you in any way, state “Cancel” either in your mind or aloud. Then replace that thought with another positive one including and exuding warmth, love & compassion.  Use positive power statements such as “I AM loving.”, “I AM compassionate.” , “I AM understanding.” to replace the thought and cultivate more of that energy in your life, thus changing your reality. This helps to strengthen the positive qualities and traits, scenarios and experiences, and opportunities you wish to manifest in your life. As you work on changing your thoughts, your words will also begin to change.  Words are spoken thoughts and more powerful energy. As you change both thoughts and words, your actions will change.  Your actions are also energy which needs to be used to help you in the best way possible. All of your thoughts, words and actions are working together, creating the type of energies manifesting in your life.  Begin working with the energies of thoughts to create your reality now. Your soul, and the universe, will thank you for it!

Send out into the world only those thoughts and energies you wish be returned to you.

Perceptions are Objective

Slide1

Perceptions are an objective viewpoint.

Perceptions are another way of judging and they are completely objective. They are a portion of the way we see without knowing the total picture, and can happen with miscommunications or mis-hearing. They are your opinion of another person or a situation, and they are not necessarily the whole truth, or even part of the truth.

Our perceptions are all dependent on us. The experiences you have been through, how others have treated you and/or how you treat others can play a role in our perceptions. Perceptions can also be a way we deal with issues when they are presented to us. Since others act like mirrors, we may be perceiving they are feeling or thinking something we would think or feel, before taking the time to discover the truth of another person. We all have our own truths, and many times we misuse them in our perceptions of others. Our truths are not necessarily another person’s truths, which we need to keep in mind in our relationships.

Perceptions are also like assumptions. You are assuming something about someone else without truly attempting to understand that person or the situation. Your viewpoint is then objective and biased and not influenced by anything except your thoughts and feelings. This is an important concept to grasp when interacting with others in any fashion, as how do you truly know another’s mind, when you haven’t taken the time to get to know someone?

Oftentimes, I also run into people who judge, assume and perceive others in a certain way because they don’t even comprehend their own minds enough to realize they are making these assumptions or judgements. Another way to look at it is like gossip. You hear something from someone and then talk about it, without knowing anything about what actually happened. Therefore, when we perceive something about someone, it is so very important to either leave it be, and go back to our own business, or if you are so moved, to ask the other person about how they are feeling. Remember, there is your truth, the other person’s truth, and somewhere in the middle the whole truth.

Our truths are a direct result of our life journey.

If you are not a trusting person, perhaps because someone hurt you in the past by breaking your trust, you may now not trust anyone, and presume people are untrustworthy.  Or perhaps if you think someone is not trustworthy, it is because you yourself have judged, gossiped and/or said something in a poor fashion about another, and you are projecting your feelings onto another person.  This is all how we perceive the world, and cultivate our own inner truth. By looking at how we judge, perceive and gossip about others will provide us profound lessons if we are willing to do the work, helping uncover our truths and transform them.

It’s more important to understand ourselves first and foremost over jumping to conclusions about someone else. Your intuition may be telling you something about another, as well, yet we still need to use this information to first understand ourselves. Learning to understand our own inner compass, our intuition, is also an important step for our spiritual growth. Our intuition will provide us messages for our own good, yet, this doesn’t give you the right to then say something derogatory about another.  Intuition comes from Divine Light, and it is intended to help us grow and learn. Understanding how you perceive another will bring you more knowledge and wisdom about yourself, helping you to ascend and transform. Therefore, it’s another way we can determine what life lessons we are needing. Plus, it allows us to be more understanding, compassionate, kind and loving to ourselves and others.  And, in the end, this brings more peace and light into the world.

If you are ready to begin your spiritual journey, or need more guidance on the one you’ve already started, I’d be de-LIGHT-ed to help you.  Please contact me for an appointment.

Discernment

Slide1

Discernment is about recognizing and pursuing which of the endless and infinite possibilities are for your highest good.

In the Divine realm, there are endless and infinite possibilities. When we recognize this and are open to receiving them, we must also understand not all of these possibilities are best for our growth. Discernment is the tool we need to strengthen and use to help us understand our true life path and choose the wisest opportunities for our soul’s growth. Discernment is a feeling, and those feelings come from our intuition, which is our Higher Soul talking to us, guiding us to the best decisions. It’s removing the ego, and allowing our inner light being to connect with our consciousness to hear the messages. It’s removing guilt, shame, fear and anger to comprehend what’s in our best interests, and not those of others. Discernment is using our knowledge, wisdom, strength, courage and power to make the best choice for our passions, gifts and life journey.

Discernment includes being aware of those individuals in our life who are loving and supporting us, no matter what.  It is understanding who is helping us with true integrity.  Discernment allows us to determine who is guiding us in our best interests, who is loyal, who is truthful and who is showing compassion.  It then helps us remove anyone who is not for our highest good. This helps us surround ourselves with the right people for our journey.

Discernment also helps us recognize the lessons we are meant to learn, versus lessons of others.  It keeps us from wrapping ourselves up in other people’s issues and dramas. It provides us the necessary information to help those who are seeking out our help, versus choosing to use us in some way. This in turn helps us focus on ourselves, while helping others, which is very important in growing, learning and gaining the wisdom we need to continue on our path.

In our lives we will continually need to use discernment as we change, as those around us change and as new people and opportunities present themselves. The more we use it, the easier it will become to call upon it without effort. Discernment removes the ego and allows our souls to guide us, and this is always in our best interests. We are able to sift through those endless possibilities, infinite opportunities and people to choose the ones which resonate with our current vibration. Discernment is helping us remove judgement, using our intuition to move more fully into our spiritual path.

If you would like help on your spiritual journey, please contact me for a consultation or appointment.

Responsibility for Self

When you take responsibility for yourself, your life will change.

Slide1

Many of us are just “going through the motions” of every day life. We are doing what is expected of us, versus what’s truly in our best interests. From jobs to family, we are following the patterns of our ancestors. We may feel as if we are being “the adult” or “being responsible”, but are we? Are we doing what is needed only, without doing what we truly desire? Are we blaming others for our unease, discomfort, imbalance or unhappiness? Then we are not taking responsibility for ourselves. Yes, the bills may need to be paid, but if we are paying the bills with money earned in a job we don’t like, then we are unhappy and this is similar to blaming another for our unhappiness. We can take responsibility for ourselves in this situation by changing our attitude or changing our job. By changing one or the other, we are starting to take responsibility. We can see things more clearly. We can begin to discover what we would rather be doing to earn income. We can look for those avenues and follow them. The path will lead where ever the most energy is placed, and if we put that energy into ourselves, then our life will change. That’s what the path is all about – taking responsibility for ourselves and doing what we are truly meant to be doing because that is our passion. And, then, it’s not work…it’s living our passion.

How do we take that responsibility?  First, it’s important to uncover your sources of unhappiness and why they are there. This is looking within you.  Signs and signals include how you feel in any given situation with any person.  Taking offense at something someone says about you, being defensive or sulking about and not speaking your truth.  Speaking your truth is not being defensive.  It is simply stating your beliefs, and moving on.

Next you can ask yourself what makes you uncomfortable, imbalanced, uneasy and so forth…and why?  Does it make you uncomfortable to be around someone who appears stronger than you?  More beautiful?  More loving?  Why do you feel this way?  You can continue asking yourself in each situation what you truly feel deep within to reveal your issues.  This is awareness of the issue. Once you have revealed them to yourself, you can accept them, remembering acceptance isn’t agreeing, it’s accepting what is so you can adjust it, or change it.  Changing it requires inner work and understanding of why you feel that way.  Perhaps you feel as if you need to be right all the time.  Why?  Were you punished when you were wrong as a child?  Were you made to feel inadequate?  Were you not allowed to tell the truth of how you really felt?  Any of these scenarios can cause us to react in a poor manner towards ourselves or others when faced with a similar situation. Accepting this is the reason why, it can be changed by changing your thinking.  “No one is perfect.”;  “No one can tell me how I should be feeling.”; “I’m worthy of respect, honor and love.”; or many other statements repeated as often as you can.  This is taking responsibility for yourself and not allowing another who is having their own issues to affect you in a manner that is harmful to you.  Continuing this positive line of thinking with positive affirmations, intentions and statements throughout the day will help you to transform.  Awareness. Acceptance. Adjustment. Just follow those Three-A’s to help yourself transform!

May you take responsibility for yourself and live your passion.

True Loving Friendship

Slide1
True unconditional friendship and love includes honesty with integrity.

Friendship and love without integrity is not true or unconditional. Integrity is the cornerstone of being your authentic self, helping to cultivate real and true relationships. It is about being honest with both yourself and another. It is recognizing in a relationship what you have ownership of whether it’s your participation, thoughts, feelings and/or actions/reactions.  Basically, “this is my stuff, and that is your stuff.” Integrity is being truthful with ourselves and our part in a relationship, experience or situation, and allowing the other person to recognize their part without force, cajoling, persuasion or manipulation.  If the other person does not recognize their part, that person may not be ready to accept any issues within themselves. Using your integrity for your highest good brings you growth and transformation.

Integrity involves staying true to yourself, and treating others with the understanding, respect and compassion they deserve. It involves walking your talk with yourself and everyone, especially those you love and consider friends. It does not include gossip, drama, chaos or talking poorly of people to others. It does not include being kind to someone in person and not kind to them when they are not around. It is both knowing and understanding everyone has a different set of experiences and circumstances which frame their knowledge, thoughts and opinions, while accepting and acknowledging they may be different than yours. Differences are simply different, they are not categorized as right or wrong.

Integrity is your internal moral compass and your ethical beliefs in action when you are with others, and when you are alone. It is being mindful of your thoughts and feelings before acting or reacting. It is not blaming another for an incident or experience which may have been uncomfortable. It is not attempting to get validation from others for our thoughts or actions.  Integrity is not saying something or acting in a way in which you wouldn’t want to be treated.  Therefore, it is important before speaking or acting to ask yourself, “how would I feel if….”

Integrity keeps us balanced with our egos;  it helps increase our kindness & compassion by allowing us to consider all aspects of ourselves; and it provides us the barometer in which a life of true and unconditional relationships are able to be present. Only with integrity can true unconditional friendship and love exist and flourish.

Namaste!
