Responsibility for Self

When you take responsibility for yourself, your life will change.

Slide1

Many of us are just “going through the motions” of every day life. We are doing what is expected of us, versus what’s truly in our best interests. From jobs to family, we are following the patterns of our ancestors. We may feel as if we are being “the adult” or “being responsible”, but are we? Are we doing what is needed only, without doing what we truly desire? Are we blaming others for our unease, discomfort, imbalance or unhappiness? Then we are not taking responsibility for ourselves. Yes, the bills may need to be paid, but if we are paying the bills with money earned in a job we don’t like, then we are unhappy and this is similar to blaming another for our unhappiness. We can take responsibility for ourselves in this situation by changing our attitude or changing our job. By changing one or the other, we are starting to take responsibility. We can see things more clearly. We can begin to discover what we would rather be doing to earn income. We can look for those avenues and follow them. The path will lead where ever the most energy is placed, and if we put that energy into ourselves, then our life will change. That’s what the path is all about – taking responsibility for ourselves and doing what we are truly meant to be doing because that is our passion. And, then, it’s not work…it’s living our passion.

How do we take that responsibility?  First, it’s important to uncover your sources of unhappiness and why they are there. This is looking within you.  Signs and signals include how you feel in any given situation with any person.  Taking offense at something someone says about you, being defensive or sulking about and not speaking your truth.  Speaking your truth is not being defensive.  It is simply stating your beliefs, and moving on.

Next you can ask yourself what makes you uncomfortable, imbalanced, uneasy and so forth…and why?  Does it make you uncomfortable to be around someone who appears stronger than you?  More beautiful?  More loving?  Why do you feel this way?  You can continue asking yourself in each situation what you truly feel deep within to reveal your issues.  This is awareness of the issue. Once you have revealed them to yourself, you can accept them, remembering acceptance isn’t agreeing, it’s accepting what is so you can adjust it, or change it.  Changing it requires inner work and understanding of why you feel that way.  Perhaps you feel as if you need to be right all the time.  Why?  Were you punished when you were wrong as a child?  Were you made to feel inadequate?  Were you not allowed to tell the truth of how you really felt?  Any of these scenarios can cause us to react in a poor manner towards ourselves or others when faced with a similar situation. Accepting this is the reason why, it can be changed by changing your thinking.  “No one is perfect.”;  “No one can tell me how I should be feeling.”; “I’m worthy of respect, honor and love.”; or many other statements repeated as often as you can.  This is taking responsibility for yourself and not allowing another who is having their own issues to affect you in a manner that is harmful to you.  Continuing this positive line of thinking with positive affirmations, intentions and statements throughout the day will help you to transform.  Awareness. Acceptance. Adjustment. Just follow those Three-A’s to help yourself transform!

May you take responsibility for yourself and live your passion.

Spiritual Center

Slide1All paths lead back to your spiritual center,
reminding you to break free from your own restrictions
into growth and transformation.

Our higher selves are guiding us along our paths, nudging us to find and connect with our spiritual centers. Within our spiritual centers we are able to work though issues to help heal ourselves. Once we resolve, understand, accept and heal from any issues which crop up along our paths, it frees us from barriers we have either knowingly or unknowingly created around ourselves. Removing these restrictions brings personal growth and transformation, and ultimately freedom.

You have the power and freedom of choice, so your physical path may and can change, yet your spiritual one towards healing and growth will be the same lessons you are meant to learn.  Others may bring you the lessons you need for your soul growth and transformation, if you are open and willing to change whether you modify your physical path or not.  Or perhaps making that change was part of your journey towards a life lesson.  Spirit will keep providing us opportunities for what we contracted to learn before manifesting in human form in this lifetime. The lessons will  start as a nudge, and if we don’t learn, the lessons are a push, and if we are still choosing not to learn, we can experience a forceful shove, sometimes over the cliff.  Some may call this forceful shove hitting rock bottom.

In my life, I have recognized many lessons, sometimes after the big shove. Great growth is available to us from our deepest pains, and sometimes it’s the only way we can learn as we are not focusing on ourselves.  One of the lessons I learned from the big shove was relationships and trust, but most importantly, loving myself enough to not choose someone who was unavailable in some fashion.  Many of my relationships were with boys and men who were not on a healing path and it caused me heartbreak. I kept repeating this pattern until I had the huge Aha moment.  Now I have a lovely, open and compassionate man in my life and I’m eternally grateful for the choices I made, even though I worked through nudges to the big shove.  It was well worth it, yet, now I find myself more open to understanding when the lessons are coming and can act on the nudges.  My spiritual path is still leading towards breaking me free from any barriers I’ve created for the lessons I’m meant to learn for my highest growth & transformation. And as long as we are alive, more lessons will come.  The more we learn, grow & transform, the more wisdom we gain.  And, the more wisdom we gain, the more harmony, love & peace we have within us, knowing we have the power within us to withstand any challenge.

Look around at those in your life and where you are in your life.  What do these people have in common? How do you feel?  Where might you rather be?  The more we ask questions such as these, the better equipped we are to learn the lessons as they initially present themselves.  It also makes us better prepared for the next lesson, ultimately leading us towards connecting more and more with our higher selves…our spiritual center.

May you continue on your spiritual path to growth & transformation!

Reveal your Authenticity

When you reveal your authenticity, your soul tribe will find you.

Slide1
Each of us are on different paths, yet some of us have similar paths. Discovering your inner truth and beliefs and allowing them to radiate outwards, creates an energetic vortex, where others who have a similar energy will be attracted to you. This is our frequency, and as we raise it through positive words, thoughts and actions, it will attract those who are vibrating and feeling that energy. As we move through our lives, and continue to vibrate higher and higher, and as we reveal and use our unique gifts, personalities, truths, and more, we will recognize more and more of our soul tribe.

This soul tribe is part of those who we continually work with in some fashion, whether on this plane or another. We may recognize them as “Soul Sisters/Brothers”, “Soul Fathers/Mothers” or “Soul Mates”, and in each lifetime they have been a part of us, with us, or around us in some fashion. These are the people we simply click with the moment we see them. We feel we already know them in some fashion. Some have agreed to work with you when you are vibrating in a lower frequency before you begin to discover your true self, whereas many who are with you before you discover your true self are not part of your soul tribe. Those who are not part of your soul tribe you will find you may lose touch with them, do not wish to be around them anymore, or any other way they leave your life.  Those who were part of your soul tribe and agreed to help you in your times of learning and growth may circle back around to you, or they may not, however, once you have learned the lesson, you will look fondly on the time they were around.  Others who helped in your path, but were not memorable, were not a part of the soul tribe, but more divine intervention to reinforce a lesson you needed to learn.

This cycle continues through-out your life until you reach a point where you are vibrating at such a high point, and others of your soul tribe are also vibrating at the same level, connect with you. Your frequency has allowed your authenticity to be revealed and the energy signals you send out, attract those with the similar band or vibration of energy. Of course, you may find before you have raised your frequency to much higher levels, there is one person who found you and is your mentor, guide, friend or lover and they stay with you, continually supporting you, guiding you and offering wisdom. On the other hand, you may not have this person around you until much later in life. Yet, have the faith that when you truly discover, transform, ascend and reveal your authenticity, those who you are meant to be with will find you. Just as you find them.

I have found in my life this cycle presents itself over and over. Each time I have changed and grown, another person enters my life who has a similar lesson to learn, or has been in a similar situation to help me.  In turn, the opposite is true, where I have become the one to help another as I’ve been in the situation they are currently experiencing. Many help groups are a wonderful example of these types of instances, where people working through a challenging situation find a group for support and guidance. During my former marriage, I found many helpful souls in Al-Anon, some radiating at my vibrations and others not, however, they were there in a time in my life where I needed to learn certain lessons as did they, and we helped and supported each other.  I remember the groups, yet I don’t necessarily remember the faces.  This was divine intervention, and no one of my soul tribe happened to be there, yet as I’ve lived, I’ve found others to help in similar situations, some of which I still call friends today, and even Soul Sisters.  When I fully accepted who I am, what my gifts are and how I am to use them, I found even more of my soul family.  Some provided challenging lessons, and some I still work with and as we continue to help each other rise in vibrations and frequency, continuing our transformations and ascension while supporting and guiding each other.

May you find your soul tribe and continue to ascend!

Rediscover Your Soul

Slide1

The process of being human includes rediscovering the beauty of your soul.
The way we have been brought up is sometimes not in the Light of our own Souls. We may have been in situations which have caused us to douse our own Light in fear, guilt or anxiety. It may have been our family, society in general or a workplace. Or we may have simply not realized or awakened yet to the inner beauty of our inner Light. The small judgements, comparisons, criticisms or complaints we give ourselves blocks this Light.

Allowing the blocks to break down includes loving kindness and compassion to our selves. It includes recognizing the beautiful gifts we have to share with others, and sharing them. It involves opening ourselves up to the beauty within us and allowing it to bloom in the world. And, this awakening brings us to the understanding, that we are but One, but we are One. One humanity, One family, One society, One world and One Light. No matter the type of difficulties or intensity of challenges you have experienced, it is to help you grow & learn. They are intended to help you rediscover your beautiful, glowing, loving soul.

You have the courage, strength & power within you to do whatever it is you desire.

Slide1

Once you have discovered your true life path, you will begin to realize you have within you everything you need to create it. You have courage to step out of your comfort zone, and what you believed was a stable, but perhaps unfulfilling life. Many of us follow the paths of our parents or friends, and find we are not truly happy doing what is deemed “proper” by others. The courage turns into strength, allowing you to take the necessary steps to realize your life dreams.  It may be scary, as it is stepping into the unknown, but it is also exciting as you begin to feel that joy welling up within you. Finally, your true power is revealed. This power is who you are at your core.  It is the gifts and wisdom you had all along springing forth like a delighted child full of creativity and ideas, wonder and energy. Your power source is your higher self and it sings for joy as you have touched it and are now following your own internal compass.

Once you realize your internal power is your divine, unique gift, that which is meant to help you in your life and to share with others, it cultivates more courage and increases your strength to move into your next phase, your new beginning and your true life path. The universe will then send you the opportunities to help you do what you need to do. It will send ideas, people, situations and resources. Note, it may not come all at once, as universe recognizes it takes time to build and will provide you with what you can handle at any given time. But, you will begin to notice how everything and everyone around you begins to be your support, your encourager and your guides. The situations and opportunities will multiple as you more fully accept this assignment your soul already agreed to do before this human life. Others may not understand, and it is not for them to understand.  It is for you to understand, grasp and fully express as your true self. This enlightening and awakening is heralded and it is celebrated by the Divine, helping you to continue to use your inner power to continue your joyful, loving and wondrous life work.

ESPAVO dear Ones! Espavo = I recognize the power within you and encourage you do use it for your highest good and that of the world!

Character Foundation

Your true character is more important than other’s perceptions, as it is the strength of your foundation. Slide1

Like a suspension bridge, our outer appearance is what others see, and it depends on the perspective. Driving across the bridge, you do not see the posts into the ground, you only see before you and above you. Looking at the bridge from afar, you see the posts moving into the ground, yet you are not necessarily aware of how deep the foundation is rooted.

It is the same with us. Others see our outward appearance, both what we choose to show the world, and what they choose to see. What others choose to see is based on their experiences, opinions and beliefs, which may not be in line with who we truly are at our core. If we choose to accept other people’s opinions and beliefs about us it can weaken our foundation. They may not be fully in tune with their own spirituality and inner souls, and without us showing our true character, it is more difficult for them to understand others.

To strengthen our foundation, our inner core, we must root down deep into our being, just like the posts of the suspension bridge, to both understand and support our beliefs & opinions, thus allowing our foundation to rise up to greater heights.  Rising up with our true nature allows our outer appearance to be supported by our true character.  Our foundation is now the strength of our entire structure because we are living our true nature, our true character.

May you use your inner foundation to strengthen your perception of yourself as well as those around you.

Emotional Connection

Slide1

Learning to connect with our emotions and express them allows us to heal ourselves, and thus the world around us.

The very nature of healing tells us we need to connect with how we are feeling and learn to express those emotions in a proper manner. We will have many different experiences on our life journey, and allowing any feelings to surface helps pinpoint the cause of the issue we need to heal. Perhaps an experience will bring up a childhood memory or something from another lifetime.  I remember being “left out” of a circle of friends when I was around 11, which made me both angry and sad, as well as confused.  A number of years ago as an adult, I recognized how upset I would become when I thought I wasn’t being included.  I thought I was being forgotten, and this didn’t sit well with me. I realized it was because the little girl inside me hadn’t properly healed the situation.  Of course, how could she?  She was only 11!  So, as an adult, I felt the feelings, released them and healed from them. Now, when similar situations arise, I don’t become upset.  I understand how sometimes as adults, we have so many balls in the air, that at times, we may not remember all the individuals we have included or not included since our circles expand exponentially. We have increased the number of the people we care about and want to be around or keep informed of our lives and vice versa. We all do our best, and understanding we are all doing our best is key.  My ego has been balanced from that time as a little girl.  My ego wanted to be included, wanted to feel accepted and loved by others.

Through the understanding and releasing process, my soul taught me that I’m the one to include myself, as well as, accept and love myself.  I know when I am indeed meant to be included for my own higher good or perhaps to help others, it will happen. Of course, many lessons of self-acceptance and self-love will appear from other situations which need healing and have occurred.  I now know how to take care of myself at these times, which brings more clarity & wisdom to me, which I can then share with those who wish to use it.

The phase of comprehending where our feelings stem from brings us clarity, allowing us to express the emotion.  It is the emotional connection.  The connection between the emotion and the root cause of that emotion. Expressing the emotion helps us release it. Once released, we heal. As we heal ourselves, we learn more knowledge. As we accept this knowledge, we gain wisdom. This wisdom brings us further into balance between our ego mind and our soul mind. Our energy has become more balanced, thus the healing energy we exude helps others near us, which in turn helps spread the healing energy around the world.

May you find your emotional connection and heal yourself, and thus the world.

Open to Self-Love

Deeply and completely understanding ourselves, opens our hearts to self-love.Slide1

How do we do this? One way is to release old pains and resentments from any type of past relationships, while focusing on why you hold the pain. Realize at the time of the relationship, the other person may not have been in a space of being able to express real love, whether a parent, significant other, friend or child. Understand the other person was not connected deeply with their own self-love. This will help you discover your part in the relationship to help let go and heal from it. With each relationship you recognize may still be with you in a lower vibrational form, repeat this process.

Holding onto past emotional baggage keeps you from experiencing pure self-love. Remember not to judge yourself for holding onto anything, as often times we are not quite aware of it until someone else points it out. It’s also important to note our hearts open up as we let go and your heart may be partially open already.

Fully opening up our heart brings the pure, true love of self, thus allowing us to share this love with others, and in return receiving it. The vibrations or frequencies we send out, are the same we receive in new relationships.  Changing ourselves brings in higher vibrations, thus attracting those back to us.  Remember this works in all areas of our lives, as well, such as more peace, happiness, etc.

Interestingly, I met with a friend yesterday who is also a Reiki Master. She was led to do an Angel Share Healing on me and during the healing she saw the image of these bleeding hearts. She didn’t even know what they originally looked like, which is beside the point. The point was I still had some resentments which surfaced that I needed to release. Some of our experiences with past relationships or even situations with current people in our lives stick with us in some fashion.  The pain may have lessened over time, but the sensation, the feeling is still there.  Acceptance is the beginning of letting go.  Acceptance allows us to look at ourselves with compassion to deeply understand.  So, ensure you show yourself some self-love by releasing pains and resentments from the past.

May you open up your heart to more self-love.

Live your Life

Slide1

Step out of other peoples’ lives and into your own.

Do not be concerned with what others are or are not doing in any given situation. Whether it’s a friend, co-worker, loved one, or for that matter a complete stranger, we must disconnect from being involved with what others are choosing to do, especially when it causes lower vibrational feelings within us.  What are lower vibrational energies?  Undue stress, anxiety, guilt, manipulated, fear, hurt, anger, sadness, negativity, judgement, or any other feeling which causes us to feel imbalanced or uncomfortable.

When we are focusing more on others than on ourselves, we are missing the point of life, missing opportunities for growth and missing what it is our life is meant to be. Remembering we are all one, yet we walk different paths, allows us to detach from drama we may otherwise be pulled into. We are here to help others as best we can, but we are not meant to own their issues or fix their issues for them.  Of course if we are fixing problems for others, we are taking away their right to learn their lessons.  They may not choose to learn their lessons, and a choice is a choice.  Just ensure you are not taking away their power to correct an issue, learn a lesson or miss an opportunity for growth.

We are meant to do our best to guide or help someone who is asking for it, yet, disengage when our feelings start to become imbalanced. Remember, the other person needs to want to help themselves and do the work. Helping others or being concerned about others without creating havoc, worry or stress within ourselves keeps us in balance.  There are many people who truly are working towards bettering themselves through growth, those who are doing what needs to be done to transform who they are, what they do and how they act and feel.

If we start to feel another’s actions is lowering our vibrations, it’s time to let go and allow the other person to find their own way. Perhaps another will be able to help. Perhaps not. It is up to that person, not us. Sometimes loving and caring for another means doing it from afar without interactions with them. This is for your personal health and well-being. While you go about your daily interactions with others, ask yourself “is this my situation to deal with or theirs?” If you feel peace with the answer, you know you made the right choice.

For those of us who are light workers, guides, earth angels and givers, pay special attention to how you feel when interacting with others.  It is easier for us to get wrapped up in others dramas.  We need to understand when we are feeling someone else’s feelings versus feeling our own. We need to fully go within and determine whether or not we are living our life, or living someone else’s. The answers we receive to help balance us and bring us back to ourselves and our paths will leave us feeling lighter, happier, balanced, peaceful and in complete harmony.

Live your Life!
